PEERLESS SZECHUAN, INC. dba SHAN is seeking DIM SUM CHEFS (multiple positions available) in BROOKLYN, NEW YORK to cook Chinese-styled dishes and dim sum according to recipes. Prepare meats, soups, sauces, vegetables, and other food ingredients prior to cooking. Season and cook food Chinese style food including dim sum according to prescribed methods. Serve portions and garnish food. Assist in ordering foodstuffs, plan menus, and develop new dishes. Supervise culinary staff.

Minimum Requirements: 24 months experience as Chef, Cook, or related position.  

Salary Offered: $72,301 to $75,000 (per year).

Prepare meats, soups, sauces, vegetables, and other food prior to cooking. Season and cook Chinese style food including dim sum and ingredients according to prescribed methods. Serve portions and garnish food. Assist in ordering foodstuffs, plans menus, and develops new Chinese and Szechuan Chinese dishes. Direct and supervise others in the cooking of various Chinese styled dishes including dim sum according to recipes or prescribed methods. Supervise culinary staff.

Minimum Requirements: 24 months experience as Chef, Cook, or related position.
